Code of Behaviour.
At Freyberg we cultivate a climate of healthy and productive student behaviour based on the following principles:
- All students can learn to behave properly
- Students are valued as individuals
- Discipline is more about teaching, learning and problem solving than about punishment
- The best discipline is self-discipline
- Everyone has a responsibility for solving problems in the school
Student Expectations.
- Respect the ideas and property of others
- Respect school property
- Respect the right of other students to learn
- Attend all classes and provide a parental explanation if absent
- Respect the position and authority of staff members
- Obtain a vehicle pass if you wish to travel to school by car or motorcycle (Years 12 & 13)
- Wear a helmet if you ride a bike
- Wear your uniform correctly at all times
- Do not smoke at school or on the way to and from school
No Tolerance.
Students are likely to be suspended if:
- They use drugs or alcohol at school or while on a school activity
- They physically assault another student or staff member
- They verbally assault a staff member
