ART DEPARTMENT

Option subjects:

4GB RAM Minimum device that is NOT a chrome book for running Adobe CC apps: Photoshop and Illustrator

8GB RAM Minimum device that is NOT a chrome book for running Adobe CC.

NB: Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge and Lightroom will run on a 4GB device BUT InDesign will only open on an 8GB device.

*InDesign is used at year 12 and 13 in the art department.

IMPORTANT: Students are allowed to take any of the option subjects listed above without a 4GB or 8GB RAM device and instead use a Freyberg High School desktop computer in the respective department for access to specialist software. This applies to both classwork and homework. Times students can access desktop computers for homework are defined by the respective department (lunchtime, afterschool). This applies to students who have 4GB RAM devices for access to InDesign (Adobe CC) which requires an 8GB device minimum.
